Shipping and Handling :

All shipping and handling within the continental United States is by UPS Ground, with expedited shipping available at additional charge. Deliveries overseas are by UPS Air Standard, with expedited shipping at additional charge. All shipping charges for deliveries to other countries are freight only and ANY additional taxes, fees, or other expenses of any kind are the responsibility of the purchaser. Any customers with other preferences for shipping methods should please contact us. Any customers who wish to bill shipping charges to their own account should please include their U.P.S. account number. Safety Devices includes an internal handling fee of $10 for inside the U.S.A. and $25 for outside the U.S.A. to each total order.

Payment Terms :

Purchase of equipment requires payment first to process your order.
All payments for repairs or services of U.S. customers are due upon receipt of the returned equipment.
All payments for repairs or services of overseas customers are due before receipt of the returned equipment. Accepted forms of payment are Check or E.F.T. We are not currently accepting credit cards.
All prices and payments are in U.S. Dollars only.

Repair Fees and Recertifications:

All repairs require a minimum charge of $120 for one hour labor to disassemble, test, and reassemble the equipment and determine the nature of the problem. For smaller equipment, such as our Blaster's Meters and handheld blasting machines, this fee typically covers the repair cost entirely. Larger blasting machines and other equipment may require additional costs for parts or more labor. No work is ever done without expressed consent and there are no charges if we cannot fix it. Safety Devices considers an item to be beyond economical repair if costs exceed 50% of the replacement value, but the customer always has the final determination. 
All repairs done to any equipment carry a one year warranty for the work done.

Our certification program includes a complete check up with refurbishment, calibration, and a certification sticker applied to satisfy state safety regulations and other requirements. Certification fees are $300 for all Safety Devices equipment except our hand held blasting machines and meters which are $100.
Our equipment when certified carries a full one year warranty from the date of inspection.
Certifications for equipment not manufactured by Safety Devices are not warranted.
