SHOCKTUBE INITIATOR: SD-88B VIPER
The VIPER utilizes a remote initiator to fire a “shot shell” primer
that ignites shock tube.
Weight: 10.5 oz.
Size: 4.5”x1.25”x1.25”
Safety: Places the blaster farther away from the blast and less
prone to injury from fly rock. Low energy shot shell primers
are 1/100th
less powerful than electric blasting caps. Shot shell primers are not
required to be stored in explosive magazines, nor do state and federal
laws strictly regulate them. The SD-88B is radio frequency and stray
current immune in the non-electric mode. The shot shell initiator may
be placed up to 1500 feet from the blaster. The SD-88B is a miniature
shock tube initiator.
Cost Effective: The SD-88B minimizes needless waste of shocktube.
Shot shell primers cost approximately five cents vs. nearly two dollars
per electric blasting cap. Savings of up to 70% can be achieved from
conventional blasting methods.
The VIPER carries a one-year warranty on material and workmanship
from date of original purchase.
