SD-500 RADIO REMOTE BLASTING SYSTEM:

 The SD-500 uses two 5 Watt VHF/UHF radios for communication to provide a full range two way communication link at standoff distances of up to five miles between the blaster and the explosive charge.
The unit provides multiple firing code combinations (over 530,000) set by the blaster that restrict access
to the system and operates on user selectable frequencies which virtually eliminates the possibility of premature detonation. An unlimited number of units can be simultaneously fired, fired in groups, or individually controlled by the operator using either assigned firing codes, different frequencies, or combinations of both. The system is used with the case closed and sealed and is housed in a single, nearly indestructible, water tight Pelican CaseS with a nearly indestructible "rubber duck" antenna. 
 
Options:  Dual answer back tones for positive arm and firing confirmation.
              Voice confirmation of system armed, fired, or aborted status.
              Versatile battery configurations allow the use of disposable or rechargeable batteries.
