SD-500A NATCHEZ RADIO REMOTE BLASTING
SYSTEM:
The NATCHEZ has been used primarily by
the US Army Corps of Engineers.
It fires
electric blasting caps by radio remote control with a backup system for manual
firing.

VHF/UHF: Provides line of sight firing with standoff
distance from the blast
Safety Features:
Turns on and off to customers program. Field
programmable codes settings. Codes take only seconds to set. Automatically
shutsdown by time
out feature. The radio “DTMF” Codes developed by Bell Telephone LaboratoriesS
used by the system are
proven to be extremely safe and reliable. Voice communication
is possible with unit during
initial set-up without the chance of premature firing. Immune to radio
frequency firing. Analog/digital 8 bit codes arm and fire the system.
A
key locking power switch
provides additional security. The unit provides visual power
on, ready, and armed modes of operation.
Batteries: Rechargeable GelCel 12 Volt #NP4-12 Battery (2 each)
Options: Answer back function and/or Strobe light. Built in
digital voltmeter.
