SD-4X490R Battery

This is a 360 volt, 550 mAh, Zinc-Manganese Dioxide ( Zn/Mno2 ) battery designed to replace the now discontinued 90 volt, 550 mAh, Zinc-Manganese Dioxide, #490 battery previously made by the Eveready Battery CorpS.
Four 90 volt batteries were originally installed in series to provide 360 volts.
This battery provides 360 volts in a single unit designed to fit all DupontS CD-32 series blasting machines.*
This battery is manufactured by Safety Devices using the same original battery cells ( #130 ) repackaged in our improved heavy duty case.
 
* Please Note:  This battery cannot be used in an unmodified machine.
A one-time fee of $120 is charged for the work required to the machine in order to accept this battery:

The multiple 9 volt style, snap on battery connectors are replaced with a single set of red and black banana plugs.
The battery compartment side panel is removed and modified to allow for a slightly wider compartment.
A battery compartment door is fabricated by cutting off the rear panel and reinstalled it on a hinge.
After removing the outer case as usual, the customer may then easily replace the battery themselves by removing a single nut and bolt holding the battery compartment door closed.
